Lacey Katzer, NBCR
Reflexologist
Reflexology is a complementary, alternative modality recognized by the National Institutes of Health. It is similar in theory to acupuncture in that it works along traditional Chinese meridian lines, but instead of needles, it uses targeted pressure on specific points (primarily on the hands, feet, and ears). These points correspond to different systems of the body (i.e Circulatory, Lymph, Endochrin, Reproductive, etc).
My approach to Reflexology is rooted in the physical, emotional, and energetic aspects of healing. While working along the energetic meridian lines, I also focus on stimulating physical neural pathways to help clear stagnation that may be interfering with balance in the body. This supports circulation, nervous system regulation, and overall well-being.
I have worked with many individuals navigating cancer, including breast cancer, bladder cancer, and those experiencing lymphedema. In these settings, Reflexology has supported clients in stabilizing pain areas, improving respiratory health, reducing inflammation, and improving overall balance. Just as importantly, it offers a space for deep relaxation, helping clients feel less stressed and overwhelmed during and after treatment. Reflexology can be adapted to support individuals at any stage of their journey, including aftercare.
Bio:
My journey into holistic wellness began not by choice, but by necessity. In 2018, during a period marked by intense stress and multiple family losses, my body began breaking down in ways that conventional medicine couldn't explain. Despite excruciating pain, inflammation, neurological symptoms, and debilitating air hunger, every test came back normal, leaving me feeling lost and without answers.
When traditional medicine failed to provide relief, I turned to Eastern healing philosophies and discovered the transformative power of holistic wellness. I immersed myself in Yin Yoga, reflexology, acupuncture, Ayurveda, and Reiki—not just as treatments, but as pathways back to myself. It was the genuine compassion and unwavering kindness of my alternative wellness providers that offered something medicine couldn't: hope.
That experience of being truly seen and supported ignited my mission to offer the same gift of hope to others navigating their own healing journeys. Today, I bring that same compassionate presence and holistic approach to every client, helping them discover their own path back to vitality and wholeness.
