Gretchen Gruender MS, RDN, CSO
For more than a decade, Gretchen has been working with people on their journey to make positive lifestyle changes achieving first-hand results by taking the whole person into consideration. Each person brings their own individual story and she enjoys finding ways to help her clients make whole foods a part of how they achieve their goals, meet their unique nutritional needs and continue to eat well no matter what barriers they may face. Gretchen also strives to help her clients make sense of and understand current research as it applies to the individual, answering questions and finding what each person needs to optimize their health.
Gretchen is a Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition though the Commission for Dietetic Registration. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as the dietetic practice groups in Oncology Nutrition and Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine. She completed a Master of Science in Nutrition at Bastyr University followed by a Dietetic Internship from Washington State University. She has 14 years of experience as a clinical oncology nutritionist.
In her free time, Gretchen enjoys trying new recipes in her kitchen, gardening, hiking around Washington, yoga, and spending time with her two young boys.
